Optimum volume control not working.

SoundBlaster G6 volume controls not working. Hello. Today I stumbled upon a problem with my G6. I cannot control the volume at all, neither with the knob or from windows speaker control. When I use the knob to lower the volume or raise it, the levelling still change displayed on the screen changes as if it works, but the sound remains the same.You sound like you were leery to do so and were trying the cable box first.
